The majority of our business is direct insurance broking between the local insured’s and insurers here in Nigeria. However, we operate in the global market in three areas.

Where multinational clients dovetail their local arrangements with their parent company’s group insurance.

Where global or local clients have risk exposures of a certain magnitude or complexity or contractual obligations that require overseas insurance market participation.

We facilitate the placement of their insurance by way of reinsurance usually placed in the London and European market in conjunction with our numerous foreign broking partners subject to regulatory approval.

Scib established a Reinsurance unit in 2008. As part of our service delivery for local insurers, we access both local and other African/International markets.
